Matt Maher: ‘Saints and Sinners’ album review

Inspired by last century’s giants of the Christian faith like Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mother Teresa, Matt Maher gives listeners yet another thoughtful collection split between personal and worshipful morsels. The singer/songwriter also uses this fifth studio disc to expand his artistic chops, co-writing with Switchfoot’s Jon Foreman, Needtobreathe’s Bo and Bear Rinehart and Leagues’ Thad Cockrell (amongst others), all united by the contemporary pop meets organic production of prior collaborator Paul Moak (Third Day, Mat Kearney).
