Cameron Charles – ‘C V R D’

It is no surprise with his background that contemporary Christian music artist Cameron Charles found the perfect arrangement with his new single “C V R D,” co-written with Hillsong Worship’s Braden Lang. Cameron, the nephew of former Newsboys‘ front man John James, had his first break playing at church and went on to play with some members of Hillsong United in their band Nolita Knights before breaking out on his own with “C V R D,” Charles’ first release as a solo artist. Already the single has received many accolades and topped the Christian charts in Australia. Cameron recollects about the single, “I wrote ‘C V R D’ during a trying period, and it’s about how the Lord calls us out and covers us through the darkest times.’ Drawing upon Christian artist’s Phil Wickham and Martin Smith, and with a nod to modern indie music, “C V R D” is the very best of new worship music. “C V R D” has a comforting and familiar sound which will leave you wanting to hear more.
