New York, NY (July, 2018)
Rising hip-hop artist, Ty Brasel continues to make national headlines since releasing his latest project, Destined For Greatness (Side A). He debuted his swank music video for “The Game” with Apple Music and “Shooting Star” is a tasteful follow up directed by Jacob Henley. “Shooting Star” is the fourth music video released off Ty’s Destined For Greatness (Side A). The 7-track project has racked up more than 600K streams on Spotify. A billboard was installed in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee to celebrate its success.

Shot in a nightclub, “Shooting Star” is intensified with a colorful light show to captivate viewers. Purple, pink, and blue strobes ignite the scene as Ty delivers his rhymes. In the video Ty raps with conviction about perceiving women as gifts from God. Ty also shares personal conflicts that have jeopardized his love life. “Running from my pain, I’m a shooting star. I hate when I fall in love, guess I’m better off.”

Ty’s lyrical prowess has been highlighted by major hip-hop platforms like The Source who wrote, “Whether Christian hip-hop is your thing or not, Ty Brasel is an artist worth checking out.”
