The Georgia-based trio Whosoever South continues their unique hip-hop/country hybrid sound—including a guest appearance by KJ-52—on their new album Backroads & Small Towns due October 3rd (Pit Bull Productions).

Whosoever South, the pioneers of what they call “Country Crunk” returns October 3rd with their third studio album, Backroads & Small Towns (Pit Bull Productions).

Whosoever South continues to create a sound all their own, mixing traditional hip-hop with a country flare reminiscent of their deep Georgia southern roots. Comprised of Rowdy Eunice, Sarah Eunice and Mike Mitchell, Whosoever South first emerged in 2013 with their national debut album, Goin’ Home. An immediate hit, the group has been breaking down barriers ever since.

The trio was Christian music’’s biggest surprise of 2013. Their unique sound quickly caught the attention of industry insiders, and before long, critics were raving about the group’s genre-bending blend, calling Goin’’ Home one of the best albums of the year. The group made their live television debut on Canada’’s 100 Huntley Street, before heading out on a U.S. media tour. UP TV even masterminded an exclusive music video pairing Whosoever South’’s single, “All the Time,” with footage from the network’’s hit series, Bulloch Family Ranch.

Their follow-up album, Come On In, dropped in 2014, mixing inner city styles with banjo, harmonica and dobro—all centered around a clear Gospel message.

With the upcoming release of Backroads & Small Towns, Whosoever South is back and better than ever. In early August, the trio quietly dropped a music video for the single, “Georgia,” and in less than a month the videeo is already approaching a half million views on Facebook alone. Two weeks ago, they released a second music video, this time for the single, “That’s Country” —which is also quickly becoming a hit with fans and new followers alike.
