Internationally recognized praise band Planetshakers recorded its new single, “SO GOOD,” last month along with 30,000 people during a “Praise Party” at SMART Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines. Releasing today (Feb. 21), the song is at iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, Deezer, Google Music and additional digital, streaming and physical retail outlets globally from Venture3Media (V3M).
“SO GOOD” is the first single from Planetshakers’ upcoming Glory Part Two EP (release date to be announced) and follows the five-song Glory Part One digital EP that was recorded in Melbourne, Australia at Planetshakers Church and released Jan. 10.
A tangible, intentional expression of worshippers collectively pursuing the presence of God, the new music is led by Planetshakers’ Joth Hunt (who also produced and mixed the recordings), Sam Evans, Aimee Evans, BJ Pridham, Joshua Brown, Rudy Nikkerud, Chelsi Nikkerud and more.
“We are passionate about the presence of God, and that’s why we continue to record new songs. We want to share what God is doing in the life of Planetshakers,” says Russell Evans, Planetshakers Founder and Lead Pastor. “In His presence, that’s where the miraculous takes place. That’s where our problems all of a sudden become like ant hills, becoming insignificant as we experience supernatural breakthrough and a peace that surpasses all understanding. Our prayer is that as you stream our music, God’s presence will fill your life, your home, your workplace, wherever you are, and you will be empowered by the Holy Spirit to see breakthrough.”
Along with “SO GOOD,” each of the new songs released this year have been captured live-in-concert via multi-cameras for a compelling visual experience. The first four of these songs featured on Glory Part One and released on video so far, “How I Praise,” “Walls,” “I Remember” and “Can’t Take My Eyes off You,” already have more than 1.4 million streams to date.
The new music and videos precede the annual Planetshakers Conferences launching with the “Glory” theme at Melbourne Arena in Melbourne, AU April 1, Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane, AU (Bowen Hills QLD) April 17 and Every Nation Church in Cape Town, South Africa May 22. This year marks the 23rd anniversary of Planetshakers Conference and its mission to lift up the name of Jesus to a generation.
