“It will be through the stories of workers who have left the abortion industry that will eventually make abortion unthinkable and Beautiful Lives lets me help to tell those stories,” said Abby Johnson, who now runs And Then There Were None, a ministry that has helped more than 560 abortion workers leave their jobs. “I’m so grateful to Pure Flix for this opportunity to share our stories.”
Beautiful Lives opens with Johnson’s dramatic story of leaving her clinic director job at Planned Parenthood after witnessing the ultrasound guided aborton in a 13-week-old fetus. Her story was the focus of the 2019 feature film, Unplanned.
“Beautiful Lives is an important series that speaks to the power of faith to transform hearts and lives. The series offers a thought-provoking lens into people’s journeys that the media don’t often show us. We’re excited to welcome Abby Johnson to Pure Flix,” said Michael Scott, CEO of Pure Flix.
The four other former abortion workers in the PureFlix series are: Monica Cline, a Planned Parenthood-trained Title X former sex-ed instructor; Annette Lancaster, a former Clinic Director at a Planned Parenthood in North Carolina; Lori Kelly, a former head researcher at the University of Pittsburgh who exposed the trafficking of fetal body parts; and Julie Wilkensen, a nurse who worked for late-term abortion doctor.
Beautiful Lives is available for streaming on PureFlix.com and with a subscription to its television service. Clips are available on the Pure Flix Facebook page.
“If you’re on the fence about abortion or want to know more about the inner workings of the abortion industry, Beautiful Lives is a must-watch series,” said Johnson. “The stories these women share are not only shocking in content but also reveal how powerful God’s mercy and love is.”
