Story Behind the Song:
“I’ve been involved in the church for most of my life, and although the song isn’t overtly Christian, I think it’ll resonate as a love song for Christian couples. It’s largely about ways that I love my wife through service, and I figured your base would catch the parallels. ‘This Is How I’ll Love You’ is the first single of my new album Love Songs by Conner Cherland. This is the first song I wrote about my wife while being married to her. Before that, my songs on marriage and love were more based on movies and were less about what actual love turned out to be: sharing and service. This song represents my brand of quiet, silly, and spider-killing romance that I bring to the table. I hope that folks enjoy and relate to my realistic, yet equally charming take on love.” —Conner Cherland
