‘Never Let Go‘ is an exclusive first look at Ascent, an immersive worship session from The Spark. The Spark is comprised of a team of worship leaders who serve Living Light Christian Church in Kenosha, Wisconsin— a church family that includes Skillet members John Cooper, Korey Cooper and Jen Ledger, all of whom participated in the special time of worship that became Ascent.

“We are a people running after God, and some of them happen to be musicians.” The Spark primary writer Chris Marvin explains of the community that you’ll see in “Never Let Go.” “We thought, ‘how can we display a worshipping people? How can we invite people to be drawn into this thing that’s already happening?'”

The result is a Spirit-saturated time of abandon, an authentic outpouring of praise to a glorious God.

The hour-long worship session Ascent will be premiering on Monday, January 24 at 7:00 PM CT, exclusively on The Spark’s YouTube channel. An audio album will be available on all major streaming platforms the following Friday, January 28. Ascent will include six original songs (including “Never Let Go”) as well as four spontaneous moments of praise.
