Matthew West And His Daughter Lulu Release Reimagined Version Of ‘Before You Ask Her’

In honor of Father’s Day, Matthew West is set to release a duet version of tender track “Before You Ask Her” with one of his two daughters, Lulu West – today across all digital streaming platforms. After performing the track last year at her dad’s headlining Ryman Auditorium show, Lulu had the idea to pull off the ultimate Father’s Day surprise by recording her vocals and reaching out to his team to release the reimagined version of the song. The heartwarming ode, penned by West with chart-topping songwriter AJ Pruis, explores a father’s advice he gives to the boy who wants to take his daughter out and eventually ask for her hand in marriage. The pair will perform the track on Father’s Day (6/19) on Fox & Friends Weekend at 9am est.
