William Lee Golden of The Oak Ridge Boys is making his songwriting debut at 85-years-old. The Country and Gospel Hall of Famer enlisted the help of Australian singer-songwriter Danni Stefanetti to help him finish and sing on his new solo single, ‘I Got My Heart On You.’ We talked to them about the new single, the future of The Oak Ridge Boys, and more.

William shared how The Oak Ridge Boys have dealt with grief in 2024. Longtime Oak Ridge Boy Joe Bonsall passed away in July, Duane Allen‘s wife passed on Easter weekend, and William’s son passed just a day after Joe Bonsall was buried.
He also confirmed that The Oak Ridge Boys plan to continuing touring in 2025. He shares the story of how they met Ben James and Joe Bonsall inviting Ben to tour with the group prior to his death.
