Walking into a church or concert and instantly feeling the presence of God is truly special. We often say, “God has shown up.” While we know God is omnipresent—He’s everywhere, all the time—there’s still something meaningful about that phrase. Every true believer, every follower of Jesus, carries the Spirit of God within them. So, when we come together, we bring His presence with us. In a very real way, God does show up! The song “Surely the Lord” celebrates this truth. When we gather, we not only hope for the miraculous, but we can expect it. My prayer is that as you listen to “Surely the Lord,” you’ll feel that same expectation for God to move in miraculous ways.
