Jim Sonefeld: ‘Love’ album review

With Love, Hootie & The Blowfish drummer Jim Sonefeld releases his third Christian market EP. As expected, the drums/percussion, guitars and overall production value are stellar across the collection’s five tracks. With some songwriting and vocal polishing still possibly needed for today’s applications, there is a refreshing sense of reality in Sonefeld’s deliberate delivery—think Rich Mullins’ “Awesome God”—which will resonate with CCM fans across the board.
