Inspired by a true story and written and directed by McAdams, Jr., God’s Here follows Jack Gilmore (McAdams, Jr.), a decorated firefighter and man of deep faith whose wife and son are killed in a texting-and-driving crash three weeks before Christmas. In the wake of his loss, Jack is charged with a DUI and required to complete community service, during which he meets a young girl with whom he shares a conflicted and painful past. Meanwhile, as Detective Kent Powers (Sorbo) investigates the fatal accident, he uncovers a shocking revelation that personally ties him to the case.

The cast also includes a host of actors making their feature film debuts, including Sorbo’s son Shane Sorbo, Lola Gianna, and Luke Bentley.

The film is executive produced by Sharon K. Campbell and Jim Doss. Don Wantz, Mary Jean Bentley, and Therese Moncrief share producer credits.

“This is a story I’ve been wanting to tell for a while, and I’m so grateful to the entire cast for agreeing to help me bring it to life,” said McAdams, Jr., whose brother was killed in a distracted driving accident 12 years ago. “I can’t wait to share this with the world.”

Reeves, who also composed the film’s score, said, “This film carries a message of hope and unity. It serves as a reminder that even in the face of adversity and personal trials, the holiday season can still hold moments of beauty and magic. I’m so fortunate to get to be a part of such a powerful movie with such a strong message.”

Kevin Sorbo added, “I hope this film lets people find the definition of forgiveness and redemption and hope. This country needs it more than ever. We live in such an impatient world right now.”
