When any CCM fan hears “Bethel Music,” images of synth and multiple worship leaders singing catchy, pop-worship tunes is what probably comes to mind. Even when individuals from pithing the Bethel collective step out to do their own music, it often comes in similar form and style. Not so with Brandon Lake’s new solo single.

Brandon’s single “I Need a Ghost,” steps out from behind the Bethel vibe in a big way. Fans of Crowder, Zach Williams, Rhett Walker or even some JJ Weeks should really dig this song. I just hope Christian radio takes a chance on it. This is a really, really good song!
