Jeff Senour: vocals, guitar
Jeff Senour has lived several of his dreams since he was a young boy. Jeff wanted to fly airplanes and write and perform music. As a young pilot in southern California he has flown for many celebrities and eventually joined the Screen Actors Guild as an aerial film pilot working on Hollywood blockbusters. Filming aerial sequences in hits such as True Lies, Executive Decision, Silence of the Lambs and many more, Jeff has traveled the world as an Aerial Director which has given him the inspiration for much of his music writing. Jeff has also been a Captain for Southwest Airlines for 25 years flying thousands of people around the country. The sights, sounds and passengers of his aviation journey have inspired the music of CTS.

As a Pilot by day rocker by night he founded CTS over 15 years ago with a mission of inspiring people to live their dreams. Through the lyrics and melodies of his original music, Jeff’s music touches people of all ages with their edgy, high energy rock and roll.

Joe McGinnity: drums
Joe has been playing drums since he was a kid and never looked back. Joe’s style can range from many types of music as he has performed with numerous bands over the years. His amazing live performance as well brings huge energy to the CTS stage.

CCM: If you had only five words to describe your new album, it would be…?
Jeff: Perfect timing for today’s world.

CCM: Do you have a favorite song from the new album? Why?
Jeff: “This Is War” We are living in actual Biblical times I feel. A time right out of Ephesians where we are in a battle of good against evil. It is a period of time we must put on our armor and stand up for what is right, otherwise we might lose what we have.

CCM: What led you to pursue a career or ministry in music?
Jeff: I have always been in music. My mom was a violinist and is where I got the gene. Ever since high school I have been in bands and started writing music late in life. Once I started writing though it took my enthusiasm to a new high and feel so honored to get to write, sing, perform and touch lives with a positive message.

CCM: Do you remember that moment when you realized you wanted to make an actual career out of music?
Jeff: Probably when I was in high school playing at the school dance.

CCM: What are your hopes for the new project?
Jeff: My hopes are that the new songs resonate with people of all ages that we live in a crazy world. After Covid, our world has been turned upside down with much confusion, division and quite honestly a lot of hate we witness. The new album is about trusting in God and that he is the one who is the Captain of our lives. The album is about being careful but not ever living in fear because God is in charge.

CCM: What was the last song you listened to on your playlist or stereo?
Jeff: “Face To Face” by Zach Williams

CCM: What was the last book you read?
Jeff: Top Gun by Dan Pedersen. I actually got to interview him on my TV show, Backstage Pass with Jeff Senour.
