Melanie Penn — “Don’t Worry”

CCM is proud to present this EXCLUSIVE VIDEO PREMIERE of Melanie Penn‘s new song, “Don’t Worry.”

Melanie Penn is a singer, songwriter and worship leader based in Manhattan. For many years she was a fixture in the NYC theatre scene and an award-winning musical theatre actress, primarily touring with the Broadway musical Grease! She transitioned to songwriting and released three songwriter albums to critical acclaim, Wake Up Love (2010), Hope Tonight (2015), and Immanuel (2017). She has served as a worship leader/music director at many NYC churches and while building her music career she also has been part of the Redeemer City to City team led by Tim Keller.

“I didn’t write Don’t Worry because I never worry. I wrote it because I worry!! Often times when I’m fretting about something I’ll walk through Central Park, listen to music in my headphones, and pray. This lyric video has some of my favorite scenes from Central Park and my rooftop, shot with my iphone. My album designer Cindy Nguyen brought the lyrics to life. And if you watch closely you might just see me ! Wherever you are, in whatever circumstances, I hope this song reminds you that God is watching over you, so don’t worry.” —Melanie
