For many, giving to their church connects to what God is doing through their faith community. God is undoubtedly moving through the work of churches globally and a way to be a part of the divine movement is to give to the churches’ ministries.
Now, perhaps more than ever, we are called to be part of extending healing and hope that can guide us to becoming a new creation in Christ. Through our gifts and support, we partner with God and God’s people to strengthen Christ’s loving presence in a hurting world.
The United Methodist Church has a connectional giving network that ensures your generosity blesses as many people as possible in sustainable, strategic ways. In practically every corner of the world, The United Methodist Church has been responding to the pandemic crisis, strengthening medical facilities, improving access to vaccines and providing supplies and clean water. This is achievable because a portion of every gift made through the local church is shared to support ministry around the world.
When we bring ourselves together in faith, equipped with God’s grace, we see that we are so much more than the sum of our parts. The impact of all of us giving makes a difference on a global scale from food ministries, clothing ministries, rebuilding lives, building hospitals and schools, funding scholarships and reaching out to communities.
Giving through the United Methodist ministries network supports education through funds like the Black College Fund, Ministerial Education Fund and United Methodist Committee on Relief. These funds bring aid to millions of people in need and support spiritual care for a hurting world. Gifts made in the local church are multiplied through The United Methodist Church network.
