Lauren Daigle’s The Kaleidoscope Tour with special guest Blessing Offor ignited Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, on March 16th with a jubilant blend of Christian, jazz, and brass band music. The atmosphere was electric from the moment Lauren and her band burst onto the stage, dancing down the catwalk and waving white handkerchiefs in celebration much like a vibrant New Orleans street parade. Their infectious energy had the entire audience on their feet.
Fan favorites “Look Up Child” and “Trust In You” were met with screams from the audience from the first few notes and everyone belted out the lyrics. Overall, Lauren sang nine songs from her new self-titled album which was released on September 8th, 2023. Over halfway through the 20-song setlist, Lauren and some of her band sat “in the round” at the end of the runway for a worshipful set of songs and medleys including “Saint Ferdinand,” “Everything,” “Good Good Father,” and Thank God I Do.” Fans then got moving with the energetic tracks “O’ Lord,” “Turbulent Skies,” and “Still Rolling Stones.” For the finale, Lauren sang her 6x platinum mega hit “You Say,” and was almost drowned out by the audience singing along. Lauren’s beautiful voice has often been compared to that of Adele, and the crowd obviously loved every minute.
One can’t help but look at what Lauren is doing and be thankful that her music reaches both Christian and non-Christian audiences, drawing them towards the Savior and giving them hope with whatever challenges they are going through. “Hope is something that fuels the human soul, and that for me is a conversation that I love diving into,” said Lauren Daigle about her new album. Her Grammy-winning talent coupled with the stunning vibrant production created an unforgettable experience. Check out the gallery below. (Photos: Annette Holloway Photography)

Blessing Offor opened the night on keys performing tracks from his album “My Tribe” with his beautiful soulful style. I was just as excited to see him as I was Lauren Daigle as I’d never seen him perform live. This talented songwriter, producer and gifted multi-instrumentalist, accompanied by a guitarist and drummer, sang “Rollin’” “Believe,” and “Brighter Days,” among others.
