3: Country music fans know Jennifer Nettles as the lead singer of Sugarland, and while Christian music listeners probably do as well, they’ve likely also caught her as a duet partner on Michael W. Smith’s latest Christmas project. These days, the singer/songwriter/guitar player (pictured on CMT’s Next Women Of Country Tour) just released her sophomore solo album, Playing With Fire, which includes the inspiring power ballad “Salvation Works.” (Photo by Andy Argyrakis)

4: A Make-A-Wish child named Nathanael is not only one of the world’s biggest Skillet fans, but also a fellow musician who always dreamed of jamming with the band. In addition to playing drums on the smash single “Monster” during sound check in Oklahoma City, Nathanael scored a session with guitarist Seth Morrison.
