Marion, VA (June 9, 2021)
As this monster of a pandemic eases, Skillet has still been inspiring concert-starved fans and ushering in some much-needed normalcy on Awakening EventsDrive-In Theater Tour along with popular Christian artists Jordan Feliz and Colton Dixon. A band that is normally performing at packed arenas and festivals across the globe, Skillet delivers rock ‘n’ roll along with messages of hope to rural, nostalgic drive-ins across the country in difficult times. The last of their drive-in shows will be on June 24th in Middle Point Ohio, and their new tour should be announced soon.

Skillet is one of the best-selling rock bands of the 21st century and a member of Pandora’s Billionaires Club. By 2019, they sold over 12 million albums worldwide. Their breakout single “Monster” remains one of the most-streamed rock songs of all-time with over 3 billion global audio streams. The single gold-certified single “Unleashed” became their fourth consecutive album to receive either a gold, platinum, or double-platinum status. Last September, SKILLET released an epic deluxe project, “Victorious: The Aftermath” (Atlantic). The collection featured all twelve original tracks from 2019’s “Victorious” album, plus eight additional songs, including two previously unreleased cuts, and five reimagined songs. One of the brand new tracks was “Dead Man Walking”, a favorite of lead singer John Cooper, for which the band released a “Marvel-esque” lyric video.
