Singer/songwriter/worship leader Amanda Lindsey Cook has received a GMA Dove nomination for Short Form Video of the Year for her ’s “Awakening” video. This marks Cook’s 3rd Dove nomination to date. In 2016, she took home the Dove Award for Inspirational Album of the Year for her debut solo album Brave New World. The Dove Awards will air on TBN on October 15, 2019, at 7:30 pm CT.

“Awakening” was the first single off Cook’s sophomore solo album House On A Hill that was released in March of this year. Fans can catch Cook perform the Dove nominated song on her first solo headlining House On A Hill Tour this fall when she hits the road with pop duo Apollo LTD. The 21-city tour starts September 7 carrying through October 28.

Cook has been a part of the Bethel Music family since 2010, and currently ministers throughout the US and internationally. Her latest album House on a Hill is Cook’s second record with Bethel Music, a sequel to her debut album Brave New World, released in 2015. Her song “Starlight” is featured on Bethel Music’s first album recorded live on our Starlight (2017). “Pieces” (co-authored with Steffany Gretzinger) is featured on Have It All (2016). She is featured on five Bethel Music compilation albums to date and has co-authored numerous songs with Steffany Gretzinger for Steffany’s solo project The Undoing (2014).
