This worshipful track showcases Hepperly’s dynamic vocals and storytelling while reflecting on her journey to self-acceptance. Hepperly aims to carve her niche as an independent artist within the Christian music space with this heartfelt introduction.

“Only once God started to show me His unconditional love and acceptance, could I write ‘Be’,” Hepperly shares. Crafted with the utmost care, “Be” serves as her official introduction to the music world, encapsulating her spiritual growth and artistic dedication.

Born and raised in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, Hepperly’s musical journey began early. At nine years old, she was already teaching, traveling, and singing. Fond memories of learning music on her grandmother’s old piano and hearing stories about Dolly Parton, her grandmother’s childhood friend, deeply influenced her musical path.

Hepperly pursued her passion for music and business at Lee University before returning home to serve as the senior worship leader at RIO Revolution Church outside Knoxville, TN. After a decade of dedicated service, she ventured into the Nashville Christian music industry but soon realized she “didn’t fit in the box.” This realization led her to embrace her identity as an independent artist.

Her debut single, “Be,” reflects her journey to finding unconditional love and acceptance, allowing her to experience freedom and a true relationship with Jesus without fear. Hepperly’s music is imbued with a hereditary folk influence, echoing the simplicity and authenticity of her roots.
