Autopsy Report Released on Death of Truett McKeehan

Nashville, TN (January 23, 2020)
The Davidson County Medical Examiner has released the autopsy and toxicology results on the death of TobyMac‘s son, Truett McKeehan, on October 23, 2019. The report officially categorizes his death as the result of an accidental overdose.

Like many other areas of the country, the middle Tennessee area has seen a significant rise in drug related deaths due to overdose or accidental overdose. In many instances an accidental overdose is the result a fatal combinations of multiple drugs or from use of drugs that, unknown to the victims, have been laced with harmful additives.

When asked for comment, TobyMac’s spokesperson reportedly told the Tennessean that his new song, “21 Years” is Toby’s statement.
