BLVRS Release Debut EP “BEHIND THE SCENES”

Christian pop duo Jordan Stephens (Jordan Blaine/JSteph) and Owen Bloomfield (Nitro X), known as “BLVRS,” are finishing the year strong with their debut EP, BEHIND THE SCENES. The title track is the first song they released this year in collaboration with Mass Anthem, marking the launch of Anthem’s new pop brand, Anthem X.

BEHIND THE SCENES perfectly encapsulates the EP’s theme: no matter the sins we hide, the trials we face, or how often we question if God is truly there, He is always faithfully working behind the scenes. This truth is powerfully illustrated in the story of Israel in the Old Testament, in King David’s psalms, and many other biblical accounts. Psalm 18:1-3 beautifully sums up the project’s heart: I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.

The EP adds a new song, “INTO YOUR ARMS” written about Psalm 18 to the BLVRS catalog, alongside the four singles they’ve released this year: JUST IN SIGHT (Psalm 41), UPS & DOWNS (Psalms 9:9-10), FOREVER & EVER (Romans 8:38-39), and of course, BEHIND THE SCENES (1 John 1:8-9).
