After a three-year hiatus and the departure of two band members, Chasing the Light has returned with a focus and passion that is evident in their latest offering “The Moment.”
Recorded in a time of uncertainty, “The Moment” brings a resounding message of faith and thanksgiving. Musically, the band uses big vocal hooks and modern production elements to showcase a fresh, new sound that is immediately ready for radio. “The Moment” is the band’s second single of 2021, following up their January release “Now I’m Living” which has already accrued over 35k streams on Spotify alone.
After opening for and touring with several notable artists in the Christian music industry like Unspoken, Finding Favor, Remedy Drive, as well as performing at some of the largest Christian music festivals in the states, members Nate DeLeon and Abe Stephens took time to focus on their music production skills. Working with a diverse range of genres from the pop flavor of Adam Laverdiere to the alt rock anthems of Collington propelled them to relaunch Chasing the Light with a new musical vision heading into 2021.
