Arguably one of the biggest Christian music events in the country, Creation Music Festival is celebrating its 41st year this summer and will be drawing thousands to central Pennsylvania June 26-29 with performances from some of the biggest artists in Christian music including Skillet, Elevation Worship, Crowder, Hillsong Worship, Kari Jobe, Tenth Avenue North and Andy Mineo. This four-day outdoor event will curate the best in live music, national speakers, and entertainment for the entire family, so all can enjoy a positive and life-changing experience.
The festival is set in the beautiful mountains of central Pennsylvania at the Agape Farm in Mt. Union, Penn., about an hour from Harrisburg, State College, and Altoona, Penn. It is one of the nation’s first and largest Christian music festivals and hasbuilt a legacy of community and worship that has transcended many generations and makes this a family-friendly event.
“Creation is a unique experience that cannot be replicated anywhere. As soon as you arrive, you sense a community that immediately draws you in. We want people to be immersed in that community of the Creation Music Festival this summer and experience the true hope, love and freedom that comes from Jesus,” said Bill Darpino, executive director of Creation Music Festival.
When Creation Music Festival first came to the central Pennsylvania area no one expected that the multi-day event would revolutionize the modern-day Christian music festival and set attendance records year after year. It was a movement that did not stop and continued to grow as people and communities traveled miles to attend each summer—and this was of course long before the days of social media too.
Throughout the years Creation has surpassed everyone’s expectations in terms of attendance and ministry, in the beginning it was logistically easier, and the audience was much newer to the festival experience unlike today’s typical festival attendee. From a single stage to multiple genre stages, from hillside tent camping to multiple camping options including RV rentals and electricity on site, these days, Creation Music Festival has become so much more than a concert to attendees. In many ways the event has become like a summer camp for Christian music fans. They can be part of life-changing experiences like a candle lighting service, getting baptized, and taking communion. There is a Tarp Run, skate park, and kids’ zone. And when it comes to music, Creation rolls out the red carpet to fans by offering them many once-in-a-lifetime VIP experiences.
After three days of being in the mountains, unplugging from technology, little sleep, and camping, attendees don’t care if they’re dirty, sweaty and tired–they carry home with them the memories of friends old and new from all backgrounds, races, and generations coming together in community to pay tribute to our heavenly Father and creator.

“I cannot wait to be at Creation 2019. It’s going to be the best thing ever. Get a group of people outdoors singing, church music happening in the air – doesn’t get much better.” —Crowder
“Creation Festival has been really instrumental in my walk with God and even in my call into ministry. When I was about 14 years old, I went to Creation Northwest and saw Chris Tomlin leading worship and it had an impact on my heart in a way that I wasn’t prepared for that night. It’s an opportunity for evangelism and sharing the gospel with people in a really fun, unique way. But It also draws you closer to your creator as you get to worship Him with thousands of believers.” —Holly Starr
“I love Creation because it’s all sorts of people from all kinds of different places, all kinds of different church backgrounds, all coming together to give tribute to our creator, something I think is very cool.” —Skillet
“It’s a place you discover new bands, you make lifelong friends. I’ve been there, I’ve been a youth pastor there, I’ve been a camper there. I can’t wait to come back and be an artist there one more time.” –10th Avenue North
