I dare you to move like the day never happened

Song/Album: “I Dare You To Move” / Learning To Breathe

Reflection: It’s so true! Today has never happened before! Nor will it happen again! Sure, the Lord’s mercies are new every morning, and second chances greet us with each new sunrise, but there will never be a repeat or re-do of today.
If we’re truly living and moving in Christ Jesus, we’re being challenged. Challenged to rise above the world and go against the grain of culture like He did. We’re being challenged to love our enemies, forgive those that hurt us, and pray for those that spitefully use us. We’re being asked to sacrifice self-comfort for the greater good of another and to swallow our pride for the benefit of someone else.
Am I making a difference today, or is today no different? Dare I risk rejection by reaching out to someone with the love of Christ? Dare I risk embarrassment by embracing the unlovable? The world is watching and waiting. My life is an open book. My movements and choices of today will establish the chapters of tomorrow.
Redemption does have stories to tell! I pray that some of them are yours and mine!
