Earlier this fall, ELEVATION RHYTHM released the poignant live worship song, “At The Altar” featuring Abbie Gamboa and Elevation Worship’s Tiffany Hudson. Inspired by the Bible story of Mary pouring expensive perfume on Jesus before His crucifixion, this song encourages the listener to give God our significant sacrifice. The song was co-written by Joshua Holiday, Davide Mutendji, Tiffany Hudson, and Abbie Gamboa.

“Our intention with this rendition of ‘At The Altar’ wasn’t just to create another acoustic song, but to truly capture the intimacy of its message,” shares Josh Holiday. “While the original version served as an invitation, we wanted this version to be deeply personal—a prayer of surrender. So, we subtly tweaked the lyrics to reflect this change in perspective.”

Brittany Diaz from ELEVATION RHYTHM shares what this song means to her, “This song takes you on a journey of intimacy and communion with Jesus. Sometimes the busyness of life distracts us from sitting at His feet. This song helps me slow down, build an altar before Him, and allow His presence to satisfy my every need. There’s nothing left to prove because Jesus proved His love for us when He died on the cross. And it’s because of the cross that we can run boldly to the altar and exchange our burdens for freedom!”

This year has been a year of collaborations for ELEVATION RHYTHM. The group kicked off 2024 with a Forrest Frank collab of their hit song “PRAISES (remix)” followed by “GOODBYE YESTERDAY” with Gracie Binion, and the aforementioned with Abbie Gamboa and Tiffany Hudson. “GOODBYE YESTERDAY” is currently impacting radio stations nationwide. The group is preparing for an amazing 2025 with new music at the top of the year and some exciting tour announcements soon.
