Hannah shares her Story Behind the Song to “Split the Sea”:

“I am so excited to share this special version of “Split the Sea!” I had the dream to record this song in a more intimate and simple way, and David Hamilton brought that dream to life by creating this beautiful arrangement of the song. The piano and strings feel so worshipful and reverent, and the video’s woodsy setting flooded with light fit the music and the message so well too. It was just really amazing to see how all the elements in this process fit together—the lyrics, the music, and the video feel cohesive and unique — and I love that. I’m so grateful to David Hamilton and the video’s director, Eric Welch, for sharing their gifts and helping me create this new version. I hope the beauty and drama of this arrangement of “Split the Sea” can help us all remember the faithfulness and character of God. Even if we find ourselves in a situation that seems impossible, He is still the God of miracles, and we just have to believe in Him. Thanks for watching!”
