Nashville, Tenn. (August 30, 2024)
Curb Records recording artist Hannah Kerr releases her much-anticipated autobiographical album, As I Am, today (8/30).

“This album is so special to me, and I can’t wait to finally share it with you,” Kerr enthuses. “I wrote these songs in the past few years as I’ve gone through seasons of change, fear, joy and growth. Through it all, I’ve learned that there’s nothing I can do to earn the love of God. He sees every detail of my life, and He doesn’t change His mind about me. He loves me AS I AM.”

A slew of singles, EPs and a Christmas project already comprise the buzzworthy singer/songwriter’s catalog, but As I Am marks Kerr’s official full-length follow-up to her 2016 critically acclaimed debut LP, Overflow. Her warm vocal meets intimate lyricism on As I Am, a mature effort that finds the songstress wrestling her insecurities into the light of grace, seeing God’s goodness in the face of hardship, and ultimately accepting the sovereignty of a loving Father in the wake of uncertainty. Fueled by thoughtful pop and vulnerable balladry, the fresh set reveals a depth to her songwriting previously unprobed, with Kerr co-penning each of the collection’s 14 recordings, including lead radio single “Changed,” the introspective “If I Were You” and longtime fan favorite “Jesus Is Why.”

Following successful spring and summer runs with Big Daddy Weave, the rising artist is scheduled to reunite with her labelmates for this fall’s “Let It Begin Tour.” The outing, which also features The Young Escape, launches Sept. 18, 2024, in Owensboro, Ky., and will make 19 stops before concluding Nov. 17, 2024, in Steelville, Mo.
