Christian country artist JD Walker releases his powerful new single “Your Knees To The Floor” from his upcoming album Deeper Than Blood. “Your Knees To The Floor” is the third single from the upcoming 11-track collection with 2 bonus tracks. “Your Knees To The Floor” provides us with the opportunity to make things right with God as he draws us by his Spirit, which compels us to share the saving message of the gospel with others. JD shares, “This song touches on the power of prayer and the simplicity of that message.”

In the midst of the challenges people face along with the circumstances, some may feel powerless until they recognize the true work of God. “This song is one most will be able to relate to as many people in the church might not be right with God. As the lyric goes, the distance between the devil and the Lord is your knees to the floor, says JD.”

Ahead of his sophomore album, JD Walker brings strength and comfort through lyrical references throughout the new single. “Your Knees To The Floor” was penned by Rick Tiger. JD says, “When Rick brought the song to me and started telling me the lyrics, before he even got to the music part, I immediately knew I wanted to record it.”

JD has undeniably drawn on the influence of country music as a recording artist from his Missouri roots. His musical inspiration stems not only from his strong spiritual beliefs, but also from the tragedy, trauma, and turmoil he has experienced during his young adulthood. Since then, he has defined what inspires him and remained true to himself as an artist and God-fearing person, easily blending christian country genres.

Deeper Than Blood follows his 2016 debut EP Too Far From Heaven, on which the title track surpassed over 2 million video views on Reverb Nation. The single also debuted on the Music Row charts at #149, ultimately peaking at #84 with absolutely no promotion.
