K-Anthony & Lloyd Nicks Release New Single ‘Your Word’

‘Your Word” was written in response to overcoming the need to rely on our own narratives, emphasizing that ultimately, God is in control, and His word will outlast all others. Beyond its infectious beat, the song conveys a message of complete trust in God, assuring listeners that their lives are safe in His hands. It underscores the belief that everything needed is found in God, who is sufficient in every circumstance. No matter what challenges arise, the solution is always God.

K-Anthony‘s musical journey began in the church he attended during his youth in Falmouth, Jamaica. Dissatisfied with just singing the old hymns, he reworked them to reflect the music he heard around him. Influenced by the island’s vibrant sounds, his music showcases his love for reggae and R&B, as well as the sounds of his teenage years, such as Boys II Men. His strong musicality, honed through his classical training and Bachelor of Arts degree in music, is evident in his well-crafted songs. His lyrics, optimistic in tone, always reflect his profound love for God and hope for the future.

Lloyd Nicks, a member of the Kingly Common family, is a St. Louis-based worship leader and songwriter known for bridging the gaps between gospel, contemporary worship, and pop music. A prominent voice in Christian music in St. Louis for the past seven years, Lloyd completed a degree in Vocal Performance from Greenville University and has since traveled internationally, leading worship. He and his wife have now planted their roots in the St. Louis area. Lloyd aims to bring a fresh flair to Christian music, igniting passion for Jesus with bold lyrics and the occasional 808 beat.

K-Anthony and Lloyd Nicks have previously collaborated on the track “Back to Jesus,” which was released in May 2024. This collaboration is a testament to their shared commitment to creating music that inspires faith and trust in God, blending their unique musical influences to reach a broader audience. Together, they continue to push the boundaries of Christian music, infusing it with new energy and relevance while staying true to its core message of hope and divine sufficiency.
