Multi-genre artist K-Anthony has released his latest in a string of recent new singles titled “Arrow.”

K-Anthony’s early musical experiences began in the church he attended in his youth, located in Falmouth, Jamaica. He is influenced by the island music, and you can hear his love of reggae and R&B. His songs are well crafted with the lyrics front and center with a decidedly optimistic tone, but the underlying theme of his music is his love for God and hope for the future.

Story Behind the Song: ‘Arrow’
“Starting a journey with an end goal in mind can be exciting if all things go according to plan and we climb the steps of achievement that come our way. But when we encounter unexpected hurdles and obstacles, we feel defeated and frustrated as if God has forgotten about us. Instead of seeing the pressures of life as a perfecting tool for our launch, we see them as just pain. However the arrow when put under pressure by a bow is catapulted to its destination after it is released. This also applies to our life, when the Master archer applies the needed pressure in our lives we accomplish our task and it hits “bulls-eye”, the specific or intended target. What seemed to be a delay was instead an aim, what seemed to be a setback was just a set-up being shaped to navigate and gain the needed momentum to achieve the plan of God for our lives.” —K-Anthony
