(NASHVILLE, TN) March 31, 2022 — Todd Tilghman, best known as the pastor and family man turned NBC’s The Voice Winner (Team Blake Shelton) on Season 18, has released his first worship single, “Worth it All.” This release is especially pivotal for Tilghman as it features the original songwriter and performer of the song, Rita Springer.
After spending years in pastoral and worship ministry, Tilghman is looking forward to getting back to his roots with such a meaningful song as the church is set to celebrate the Easter holiday. “This song has always meant so much to me,” he says, “in times when my heart was breaking and I didn’t know what to do. And it means so very much that I can share it with the world just as we prepare to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.”
“Rita agreeing to feature on this was a dream come true for me,” Tilghman remarked. The music and ministry of Rita Springer have been so instrumental to Tilghman that even the way he led worship prior to The Voice was influenced by Rita.
“As we look forward especially to this Easter season, it’s a time we all need hope in our lives,” he continued. “I want people to hear this and realize the dark season isn’t the end, and every teardrop is meaningful. No suffering is forever, and no suffering is for nothing.”
