Nashville’s Lipscomb University hosted the 5th Annual GMA Honors and Gospel Music Hall of Fame Ceremony featuring several of the most meaningful artists and folks behind the scenes of the last several generations. Inductees included multi-faceted entertainer Carman, southern gospel singer Karen Peck Gooch, legendary soul/gospel group The Staples Singers and producer Greg Nelson, while additional honors went to Chonda Pierce for Branches Counseling Center, Bishop Marvin Sapp, Ryan Lampa for People Loving Nashville and Lipscomb University, alongside 2018 “Milestone Song Award” winner Rick Founds for “Lord I Lift Your Name On High.”
As if that wasn’t enough, Steven Curtis Chapman, Dr. Bobby Jones, TobyMac, Sandi Patty, Larnelle Harris, Jekalyn Carr, Mark Lowry, Scott Hamilton, The Isaacs, Jason Crabb, Steve Green and the Nashville Super Choir were just some of the many performers and presenters!
