Internationally recognized praise and worship band Planetshakers releases Winning Team: Songs For Church (Live) globally today (Nov. 1) from Venture3Media (V3M). Available now at all major digital and streaming outlets, the album will also be released as a CD by New Day Distribution and as an Apple Music Exclusive Deluxe Edition that contains Music Videos for all 11 songs on the recording.

Recorded live in-the-round and led by Planetshakers band members, Winning Team: Songs For Church (Live) re-crafts tracks from this past summer’s full production Winning Team songs in a musically accessible way for smaller gatherings. Produced by Joth Hunt, the recording features lead singles “Overflow Of Worship” and “Presence.”

“The presence of God has been our pursuit since the beginning of Planetshakers Conferences,” shares Planetshakers Church Pastor Russell Evans. “It is true that He is always with us, but it is also true that when God’s presence is experienced tangibly that there are changes that take place in our lives. It’s like when Jesus walks into a village or region and people would gather around him with all sorts of needs and God’s presence and power would be there to heal, deliver and transform.”

Like previous years’ Planetshakers chapel recordings, the entire Winning Team: Songs For Church (Live) was captured on video and is available to stream now in one continuous praise and worship event.

“I hope people can sense the joy that we’re experiencing and expressing when we’re singing these songs,” says Pastor Sam Evans. “With Jesus, we’re on the winning team. When we’re singing these songs, people are grabbing ahold of what Jesus has done, and they’re celebrating and supernaturally experiencing the joy of the Lord.”

“Winning Team emphasizes the power of praise,” adds Hunt. “We really get a picture of what praise and worship is in scripture, and praise carries something different than worship. The spirit of praise is so powerful. It transcends musical style and can break an atmosphere open and into freedom.”
