“Tension,” the latest single from fan-favorite Christian rockers Random Hero, is currently the #1 Christian rock song in the country, according to Christian Music Weekly‘s January 8 Rock chart. The title-cut and lead single from the band’s 2019 RockFest Records debut, “Tension” chronicles a season of change for the group while offering encouragement for those navigating life’s unavoidable obstacles.

‘Tension’—both the song and the record—represents the growth we have experienced as writers, performers and musicians over the past year,” shares Random Hero frontman Aaron Watkins. “I still remember us writing ‘Tension’ like it was yesterday. Debuting at #21 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart as well as at #26 on the Nielsen SoundScan Current Hard Music Album Sales Chart following its August release, the critically-acclaimed project also showcases the explosive album opener “Weight Of The World” and the equally hard-driving “Public Enemy,” as well as the cinematic “White Flag,” a soaring anthem of submission to God.
