With pop-inspired music that is inherently congregational, Shaylee took her first step with a single debut of “Dearly Loved” on July 26th, 2019, which currently has over 5 million streams on Apple Music. For years now, Shaylee has enjoyed being a part of several music projects focused on sync/licensing (including the band HRDLY) while consistently leading worship at her local church; it’s no wonder that writing worship music that feels universally accessible has been such a natural transition. She recently signed her first record deal with Lula Street Records, and “Hear Me Out” will be the first single released through this new partnership.

“This is a song about how God is a gracious listener,” Simeone shares. “Despite how the world, and even the church sometimes, may not always feel like the safest place to share our deepest feelings, thoughts, concerns and doubts, God offers us a safe place to do so. He knows the rawest places in our hearts and still offers His. I pray “Hear Me Out” is a reminder of that, and to always be thankful that there is no condemnation in Christ. He carries our hurt, anger, joy, and sadness all the same.”

Relatable while rooted in solid Biblical theology, Shaylee is excited to continue writing and releasing music throughout this next year. “Hear Me Out”, produced by John Strandall and written by Simeone, Ethan Hulse, and Luke Brown, will be available on January 21st, 2022.
