Singer-songwriter Les N. Downs Releases New Single ‘Trust In You Lord’

Kentucky-based Christian artist Les N. Downs releases her latest single, “Trust In You Lord,” off her debut album.

Downs has been writing and playing Christian music for many years with a unique sound that blends folk and soul. Finding her niche in Christian music has not been an easy venture, but she is discovering it by remaining faithful to her style, even if it differs from what others are releasing. The song was co-written with Jordan Evans, a fellow member of the group 1Church Movement based out of Bowling Green.

The song is inspired by the words in Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

This is a season of stepping out in faith and trusting the Lord with every decision. Obedience isn’t something that comes naturally, but a close relationship with Jesus makes it possible.
