Sunday Mornin’ Country promises to be the best ticket in town, blending top Country artists and your favorite Gospel music together for a time of celebration and inspiration, along with great entertainment for the whole family. Again this year, the show will be hosted by the legendary Country Music and Rock -n- Roll Hall of Fame member, Brenda Lee. Sunday Mornin’ Country is an event you won’t want to miss. This year’s show celebrates the 40th Anniversary of Country music artists coming together to share their hearts as well as their favorite Gospel songs. The event will take place on Sunday, June 12th on the Grand Ole Opry stage.
Special performances for the 40th Anniversary promise something for everyone with a lineup of acclaimed artists including Adam Warner, Alex Miller, Brenda Lee, Charlie McCoy, Chris Golden, Cowboy Joe & The Babcocks, Dianne Sherrill, Joanne Cash Yates, John Berry, LuLu Roman, Makenzie Phipps, Holly Watson, Melanie Walker, Music City Quartet, Music City Strings, Nadine from Larry’s Country Diner, Stu Phillips, T. Graham Brown, Tennessee River Boys, The Fox Brothers, René Jones and Todd Tilghman. A Pre-show featuring The Country Chorale kicks off the event at 2 PM.
“Sunday Mornin’ Country is one of my favorite things to be a part of each year. It reminds me of my childhood, going to church, being with old friends, meeting new friends and sharing the songs of my childhood,” said Brenda Lee. “I am honored to be invited to host the 40th Anniversary show this year at the Grand Ole Opry House.”
Sponsored by the Nashville-based nonprofit, Music City Christian Fellowship, the concert has wrapped up the week at the conclusion of CMA Music Fest each year, leaving fans and guests with an uplifting memory of Nashville. Sunday Mornin’ Country is the longest-running Country/Gospel event during the music festival.
