Nashville, TN (October 20, 2021)
With the holidays just around the corner, two-time GRAMMY-nominated Christian music group We The Kingdom is shining a light on the reason for the season with the release of A Family Christmas EP this Friday, October 22, 2021, via Capitol Christian Music Group.
Chock-full of festive originals alongside one moving cover of “Silent Night (Heavenly Peace),” the six-track project was produced entirely by the group and features some of the most notable names in the christian genre, including Maverick City Music and Chris Tomlin.
Recently nabbing their very first RIAA-certified GOLD record with “Holy Water,” the band’s first No. 1 single, We The Kingdom will take the stage for a standout performance during the televised Dove Awards, where they are also vying for the title of Contemporary Christian Artist of The Year, Worship Recorded Song of the Year for “God So Loved,” and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year for the group’s debut album, Holy Water. A Family Christmas follows in the footsteps of their recent full-length release, Live at Ocean Way Nashville.
Made up of brothers Ed Cash and Scott Cash, Ed’s children Franni Rae Cash Cain and Martin Cash, and close family friend Andrew Bergthold, who all came together as musicians during a life-changing Young Life experience, the multi-generational group has garnered continuous praise since their debut in 2018, racking up more than 265 million+ global streams and 300k social media followers to date in just a few years as a commercial band.
We The Kingdom is currently busy on the road, playing major arenas, fairs, festivals and more through November, with several upcoming dates already sold out on the trek.
