For more than 30 years, Down East Boys have traveled from coast to coast, from Canada to Mexico. A flagship artist for Sonlite Records, their second-ever release thrust the group into the mainstream of gospel music with their song “Beautiful Valley.” The song remained in the Singing News Top 40 for 1- consecutive months, and in 1990 they received a Singing News Group of the Year Reader Award. A timeline will show that the group has recorded more than 20 projects with over 40 songs reaching the top of the Singing News charts.
