Lovefeast has released its brand new single ‘Reborn’ which is available now on all streaming services.
Lovefeast producer Kyle Malone had this to say about the song: “‘Reborn’ is a tropical gospel song about the dark night of the soul, as well as the rebirth and sanctification that can and usually does immediately follow a period of brokenness. The track began as a sample of toucan calls that I recorded in Costa Rica while on holiday. My guitarist Jeremy Baugh and I looped the bird audio utilizing his MPC, and within a matter of minutes we had this incredibly unique but organic sounding beat. From there I directed Baugh to play some Hawaiian-style slide guitar, and we finally fell into a tropical groove. Out of all of the songs from our upcoming debut album, I feel like this one captures the “tropical gospel” sound the best, and that was the original idea for Lovefeast.”
