Marqus Anthony‘s brand new collaborative single “Easy,” with Xay Hill and featuring R-Swift, is the first single the forthcoming EP, 50 Shades. Xay creatively vibes over the menacing, dark and hard-hitting production to lace the song with a memorable chorus describing a life that hasn’t been easy. R-Swift lyrically demolishes the first verse using slick cadences in dope pockets. He tells the story of a young man growing up on the block who is struggling with his faith due to overwhelmingly tough circumstances he is surrounded by on a daily basis. Marqus then uses intense tones and emphatic expressions as he delivers the second verse from the perspective of Jesus, who’s life also wasn’t easy. He details difficult portions of the life as Christ, but ultimately encourages the young man because Christ has overcome this world despite said difficulties.

Overall the collaboration of these three artists produces a deeply uplifting banger suitable for everybody since we can all relate to the concept of this life not being easy; nevertheless, we are greatly encouraged by the conquering power and overwhelming love of Jesus Christ, our savior.
