Tina Boonstra
‘What is the rush? (Acoustic)’ single
(7core Music)
This acoustic version of Tina Boonstra’s latest single “What is the rush?” was recorded at home during the Covid-19 lockdown.
“Over the last few months, we’ve all had to deal with grief and disappointment in some measure. We’ve all had to try to figure out a way to process what’s been happening and that’s been so hard. Working on this version of What is the rush? has been a really great experience for me. It’s been so good to come together with friends and make something special in this strange and uncertain time. I recorded the vocals on my own, in my bathroom, and worked with producer and pianist Barnabas Shaw to complete the track. I was grateful to have cellist and co-founder of the London Film Music Orchestra, Ivelina Dusheva-Martial, feature on this song and I’m really excited to share it now.” — Tina Boonstra
