Blanca – ‘Real Love EP’ album review

Perhaps best known for her dance-pop-infused raucous live shows and affiliation with her foray into the biz via Group 1 Crew, Blanca is quickly solidifying herself as a headlining solo act, and, if the tracks on the new Real Love (buy) EP are any indication, she’s primed to soar. Vocally, Blanca even notches herself another level, and the songs—each and every one—are ultra-catchy and memorable. From the poignant title track, the retro keyboard-heavy “Undeniable,” the bumpin’ beat of “Remind Me,” to the Latin-laden “Give It All,” the only thing wrong with the project is that its limited to only five total songs. What’s more than perfecting your sound and coming into your own as an artist? Perfecting the art of leaving listeners wanting much more…job well done, Blanca.
