Chris Tomlin – ‘Adore: Christmas Songs Of Worship’ album review

Six years after Chris Tomlin released his first Christmas album, Glory in the Highest, the GRAMMY-winning songwriter is back with Adore: Christmas Songs Of Worship. Tomlin needs no introduction as the most successful worship leader of a generation, which means that these songs are bound to find a home among many individuals and congregations this holiday season. The good news is that Adore is an inspired album from beginning to end. “He Shall Reign Forever” sets the reverent tone with a beautiful refrain and reflection on God’s greatness. Guests like Kristyn Getty help Tomlin on familiar songs like “Silent Night,” while the powerful vocals of Lauren Daigle bolster originals like “Noel.” Guests aside, Tomlin is still the star, leading us all to the manger to, once again, honor the Savior this Christmas.
