A few degrees left (or right) of center sonically from the current worship-genre trajectory, PJ Anderson offers Mercy Mercy, a loaded 15-song album complete with thought-provoking tracks all resting on a soothing, rich musical palette featuring deep arrangements and intricate harmonies. “We Adore You” specifically captures Anderson’s exceptional vocal performance, showcasing range and passion. “Sons And Daughters” and “Your Great Love” are the upbeat standouts on a mostly slow-to-mid tempo collection, however, the flow and overall timbre of Mercy Mercy is such a refreshing listen, the album will thoroughly be enjoyed in any setting or mood.
