One of Christian music’s most recognizable voices from the 90’s returns to recorded music with a pitch perfect, six-song gem. Produced by faithful songwriting comrade Wayne Kirkpatrick (Eric Clapton, Little Big Town), Susan’s stellar artistry characteristically tows the line between gospel and country with ease. And though band tracks replicate her yesteryear, Thief’s stripped acoustic tunes allow Ashton’s sparkling vocal to nuance every lyric and satisfy Susan’s decade-long disappearance.
