River Valley Worship might be a lesser-known contributor to the modern worship scene, quietly releasing albums on their own since 2011, but the Minneapolis-based collective finds their time to shine on their major-label debut Million Lifetimes (buy). Here you’ll find an energetic blend of live worship and pop-driven songs that feel right at home alongside some of our most favorite Hillsong and Bethel releases to date. Some of the first tracks have simple lyrics and a youthful dance beat along the lines of Hillsong Young & Free, but the record finishes strong, with depth and passion on full display in songs like “World Needs Jesus” and “Clean.” If you’re looking for some new additions to your Sunday morning Spotify playlist, River Valley Worship is one to watch.
